Clients Theo Nordlund (Frölunda HC J18) and Zion Nybeck (HV71 J18) have been named to Team Sweden 16, and Philip Broberg (AIK J20) has been named to Team Sweden 17. Nordlund and Nybeck will be heading to Umeå to participate in the 4 Nations Tournament, while Broberg will be playing in the 5 Nations Tournament in Switzerland; both tournaments will be taking place later this month.

Christopher Bengtsson is moving on back up to the SHL, signing a two-year contract with Rögle BK. The centre/left wing spent this past season with Södertälje SK, recording 21 goals and 20 assists in 49 games played. Take a look at his hattrick earlier this season against Leksand IF:
Bengtsson has previously played in the SHL for MODO Hockey.

TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button recently released the March edition of his NHL 2018 Draft Rankings list, with Rasmus Sandin and Axel Andersson ranked within the top 35. Sandin, who has been having an outstanding season with the Soo Greyhounds, takes the #18 spot, while Andersson, a solid defenseman for Djurgården IF’s J20 team, is ranked at #34.
Alex Nylander, forward for the Rochester Americans of the AHL, is on a bit of a hot streak at the moment. Nylander has recored 15 points in his last 15 games, including three assists in the Amerks 6-4 loss to the Hartford Wolf Pack last night. Check out the game highlights:
Over a decade ago, Michael Nylander was playing for the Washington Capitals and took it upon himself to invite 19-year-old rookie Nicklas Bäckström to his home in Washington DC. It was then that a strong friendship began forming between Bäckström and Nylander’s oldest son, 11-year-old William. Now, the two have gone from playing ping pong in the Nylander family home to facing off against each other on the ice.
