Axel Jonsson Fjällby’s season with Djurgården IF may have just ended, but the star forward is now set to join Adam Åhman and play for Team Sweden in the Carlson Hockey Games, taking place in Jaroslavl and Pardubice.
”It’s going to be fun,” said Fjällby to HockeyNews.se. ”I’m going to play my best hockey.”
The Washington Capitals prospect, nicknamed ”The Hunter,” ended this season with seven goals and nine assists, and was a standout for Team Sweden during the World Junior Championships in Buffalo.
