Although there is a possibility that Axel Jonsson Fjällby will return to the SHL and Djurgården IF for another season, the 20-year-old forward has his sights set on Washington D.C.
Fjällby, who is currently attending the Washington Capitals’ rookie camp after signing his first NHL contract back in May, feels ready and determined to make the team’s roster.
”I will not lie, I’m a little tense. It’ll be a new adventure, and I have never gone over before and been set on staying there. There have been some tournaments and development camps but this is the first time it’s for real,” he said in an interview with HockeyNews.se.
